HUNTINGTON — Feathers, rhinestones and beads helped children get into the spirit Saturday as they decorated their very own Mardi Gras masks at Heritage Station.
The downtown Huntington venue marked the annual celebration with a Mardi Gras Kickoff Weekend that began Friday. The two-day event featured crafts, Cajun cuisine, beer and cocktails as well as shopping at the businesses located at Heritage Station. There were also games and prizes.
The weekend event included a performance by Jason Mays on Friday, while Dale Blankenship continued the musical offerings Saturday.
